Agent Balti Jeez, peeps...let GO of the past! Who gives a flying one what ANY of our former players, or staff do. Threads like this one and the James Harper one on UR&G really are pointless shoe-gazing affairs. Relevance = Nil.

To be fair Balti you could level that charge at the entire output of HNA.

Anyone got any pics or point me to a URL with that book and his big watch?

My personal opinion is that a great manager understands the situation, understands his players, and works with what he has. A lesser manager doesn't take capability into the equation.

/\ /\ This.
Gareth Keenan style powerpoint presentations should be left to focus groups, and marketing strategy meetings for the smoke and mirrors brigade. We are talking about a sport with tewnty two blokes on a bit of grass with a net at each end.

As he's the only manager who is stupid enough to sign Short Cummings I say well done Swansea.

It was clear to me that in his last month or so here he'd started to learn where he was going wrong in the way he dealt with people, and he was starting to change his attitude. But by then the damage was done and he'd pissed off too many important people.

But I'd be pretty sure that he's had plenty of time to think about where he went wrong, and I'm sure he can be successful, if he shows a little more humility and understanding and a bit less arrogance.

Personally, I wish him well.

Why does anyone care??? There was no outpouring of grief on here when Burns died and it's not like everyone comes on here wishing Bullivant well when he buys a new frigging taxi or something. He's an ex manager - he wasn't very good for us - he's moved on.

At least he's keeping pretty tight-lipped about this appointment so he must have learnt something.

Could go either way for him at Swansea, however if the crowd get on his back he will be a goner, he has a very high opinion of himself, but actually once the Jose veneer is removed spouts complete ballcocks 90% of the time to both players and fans.Pleased im not a Swansea supporter

Fairly obvious that you are fishing here, but I am going to bite anyway.

LOL @ Rodgers being a 'Reading man'. Rodgers is a Rodgers man. The guff when he joined about being the club's 'biggest supporter' was a load of sentimental old toss designed to curry favour and buy him time.
