JR Was anyone else disturbed by the shooting drill before the game?
Basically the forwards and midfielders took it in turns to play a one-two with the coach and then had to try and beat hamer in goal.
After about 30 efforts they managed a measly 2 goals between them. If thats the strike rate with no defenders its no wonder we are destroying teams but letting ourselves down in front of goal.

I think you've misunderstood the drill.
It's a drill to reinforce the need to get back into position as soon as the shot misses.

Ian Royal Is it not a drill for the keeper to warm up? When I've seen this stuff the attackers are often putting in shots designed to be hard, but saveable.

I am hoping you are expressing irony with this comment. A random selection of the away fans would have done the drill better.
