1960 On Ginger Day I borrowed a Sainsbury's (old-colour) fleece and bought a ginger wig from the Megastore, felt rather pleased with myself. Got in the ground and found about 3 people had bothered. Baldy Day sounds great, but only if people bleeding well do it.

You must have gone to the wrong ginger day. I saw closer to thousands who had made the effort.

Big Foot FINGER day. Everyone takes foam hands to point at Matt Skills

Spacey likes this.

It would be funny but at present I suspect he might have a Kitson style sense of humour failure!

Maybe do it in better times when everyone including Mills can look back on the past and have a good laugh.

Talking of Kitson, on Ginger day Sidwell spotted my son (genuine red head) proudly sporting a Sidwell Ginger Ninja T shirt and made a point of calling Kitson over to join in!

Elm Park Old Boy Synchronicity! My son and I had just agreed that if we made the play-offs we'd shave our heads and get glasses.

Now we can do it with others, and no need ot bother with the pesky play-offs! Last home game? or earlier?

Ginger day was last home game. If this happens it should be too. It shouldn't get in the way of Random Inflatables X at Watford.

It needs a couple of people to get together with STAR and really push it and get publicity from the EP, Chronic, BBCRB, 107, the club, Carnival Stores etc. I think J did it last time. Then there were those who organised and publicised the carpark parade.

I'd offer, but I'm not well placed to do it from Cambridge.

That's it! You guys have left me no choice but to launch random inflatables tonight!

There's is no way many people will want to look like twat's with a silly fake bald wig on thier head.

I don't think it should be last home game, lest it should become a tradition like inflatables. Plus of course, we might not be feeling so well disposed towards McD by then.

Cash in on his popularity and do it soon, leaving enough time to get something organised. Someone mentioned Peterborough mid April - sounds good, though Newcastle would get better coverage and the Mad will be rammed.

A " ruler day" is quite possibly the funniest yet most retarded suggestion for a theme day i've ever read

I think we should do a Viking day for sig and the rest of our icelandic contingent.

Sun Tzu
Dorset-Knob Get STAR to endorse it and purchase the baldy-wigs wholesale, for resale up to and on the match day, selected for the event.

This is how most every other theme day props were obtained and it guarantees a bit of a show!

Seempulls

Just needs a pro to organise it .....

Quite right! sombody that understands 'the art of war or military strategy' would be ideal perhaps? :)

The trouble is, haven't the normally good natured folk/stewards at Watford proven in the past that they have a complete sense of humour failure when it comes to inflatables? The moment they can get their hands on them, they are confiscated, deflated, burst or left on those wooden benches of their luxury open air stand!

Sheffield Wednesday stewards had a sense of humour failure. Didn't stop us.
