Sorry if I have missed something but do we know how Bryn is as I haven't seen anything about what seemed to be a serious injury?

Apparently nothing more serious than a broken nose and McDermott says he is still a good looking bloke!

Given it was a broken nose and apparently Ameobi was involved, could someone in the Northstand please confirm that it did appear to be a genuine accident.

Friend of mine sat in the North Stand said that it was an innocent clash of heads.

Concerns about his shoulder as well. Possible for P'boro, as is Khiz.

Cisse just played for the reserves, so looks like we will be able to field two players who've played centreback in the first team before in some way or another.

McDermott quoted as saying something like Bryn's nose was all over the place. :|

Surprised if it is a broken nose as their was no blood.

He seemed to be knocked absolutely cold and the physio's immediate reaction was to immobilise the neck (although they didn't put a collar on him)

Good news if it was minor, and to confirm from where we were there was absolutley no question of it being anything other than two players throwing themselves at the ball and one of them coming off worst as a result of the angles they attacked at.

MaccyD said in the after match interview that there was a lot of blood, that he was sat up and with his wife. A heart in mouth moment seeing a player prone on the pitch.

OK, we had a fairly good view from the N Stand and I didn't see any blood, or any attempt to staunch any blood.

I must be wrong !!

I'm not saying that you're wrong. Just reporting what was stated after the game. :| Not all broken noses bleed profusely at first, and it looks like you are correct.

I'm quite happy to be wrong (are we going to get into an arguement in which we both fight for the right to be wrong !!)

I have no medical qualifications so am simply saying what I (believed) I saw.

I think I'm more wrong than you and am prepared to get nasty over it if need be !!!!

I was in the North stand and certainly didn't see anything sinister. It looked a genuine accident to me.

According to the OS both he and Khizanishvili (knee) will be assesed later this week but the club are hopeful both could be available Saturday (so that'll be both out and an unfit Cisse at the back then).
