First Game of 2010/11

by leww_rfc » 01 Jun 2010 22:16

Who'd you reckon we'll get?
Fixtures now just 16 days away.

As much as I think we'll get Forest.

erm I think..

Norwich either Home or Away.

Would like to start at Home to someone we could beat just to get us rolling.

I cannot wait till the fixtures are released, so I can see what games that I am going to when I come over in December.

I will be in the motherland from the 9th till the 21st of December.

I am hoping to get to a game on the two Saturday's, and hoping for a mid week game!

Knowing my luck, it will be an international week with no games on one of the weekends. :(

Is it on 8/8?

It's the weekend of 7th August, so we should start at home to ensure we're away for the festival weekend.

Don't think there are any Internaional breaks in Dec so you should be OK.

It will be a quiet home game to start against a team we played towards the end of last season so I reckon Coventry.

I fancy a nice day trip to the coast or somewhere I can take the family for a bit of a holiday with a picnic etc and make a weekend out of it. It's a bit tricky now that Plymouth have been relegated and Blackpool have been promoted, but maybe Norwich, Ipswich or Portsmouth away will suffice. The kids don't really like football, but I could tempt them to a game with a prawn sandwich or two.

Sarah - Swansea away would probably fit the bill then - quite a few beaches in South Wales apparently (according to all the TV adverts anyway).

You're right, TROLI. Cardiff would also be OK... and Bristol.

I'd like there to be some goals for a change... so not Watford, Forest or Man Utd.

One down.
