I posted on this subject on Club Policies earlier.

No, we don't YET have any plans because we (or I) only learned about this today. But I imagine we will, given our support already for this cause.

Forty is naughty (FAO Sheff Weds)
Half price is nice
A grand in the stand is worth two in the hand
Fifty pounds or higher and it's time to retire

£50 isn't dear if you cut back on beer.

Serious note - Anyone who spends £40-£50 a season on a replica shirt and £10 a game on a programe, hotdog and drink etc has no right to complain about the price of tickets.

True. But there are also some who don't buy any of that.

A bloke used to sit near me for several years - never wore any colours, never bought a programme or any refreshments that I saw, always arrived at his seat about one minute to kick-off, stayed to the end, cheered, swore and booed like anyone else, knew his football and who the players were. Purely there for the football, no gubbins. Respect for that.

How about as a interim solution championing concessions for those on job seekers allowance or full time careers for the disabled, that sort of thing where wages could be a problem, Especially for those with a long history of supporting the team, maybe even if it's just for the games where we have surplus tickets (pretty much all of them then!) - some revenue from ticket sales is better than none.

You're a bit early on the chasing front so I can't promise anything.

We have FSF banners on order, we have put out feelers to various Boro groups to join in some kind of pre-match procession around the stadium with banners (you're v. welcome to join in and all your friends too), we have a petition to sign in STAR Base and the Everton trust were quite impressed with our preparatory efforts which included nicking their photo for our petition.

Obviously it would be great if someone could lead a non-stop chant of 'Twenty's Plenty' throughout the first half.

Tap in here for someone.

If Ola John gets on the score sheet consider it done.

There has been a petition to sign in the STAR Base and it will be there on Saturday if you want to sign it.

The FSF banner will at the STAR Base at 2.15 with the intention to walk around outside the stadium with it (and as many people who want to join us to show their support) and then it will go inside the stadium for display near the Y26 corner flag.

I urge you to keep these inflated prices at bay, though I pay it every week come what may.

I'm left to conclude that it's just market forces in action, and this so called protest is unlikely to make any traction.

2 for 1 and our mates come along
Refunds when we lose so we can buy booze

I would support a spreadbetting style direct debit scheme, For every goal we score the price goes up, for every goal we concede the price goes down, multiply that by the number of points scored and you have a chaotic unworkable scheme..... on second thoughts, I could just do a spreadbet on the side instead.

Variable pricing is a good idea (though not depending on the result like you describe :| ), some clubs do this with category A,B,C games.

Ultimately though you're a bit stymied by season ticket holders who've already paid full whack for almost every game. If you offer too many discounts you risk culling these golden geese.

They get culled anyway, would love a breakdown of St holders in to categories, I know someone who has one for their smallest because it was free.
