Barring any last-minute Christmas shopping he needs to do for the family Long, Shane will be our Sportsweek guest tomorrow.

Shane how did you manage to miss that chance at Birmingham last week?

When you come on as sub, why do you get suckered by defenders looking for a free kick by giving them the little nudge they need to fall over?

I really like S Long as at RFC we dont see many younger players. But i totally agree with PieEaters sentiments. S Long really needs to wise up and stop give away silly free kicks.

You are still very young and have a promising footballing career ahead of you. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Ireland captain? Man United captain? Cork City captain?

Hello Shane

I once gave you a lift in my little blue and white mini and you said you really liked my car. Have you considered buying one yet? If not, what car are you currently driving.

Shane, you and Stephen Hunt both mentioned in an interview on eircom.net, that chicken casserole is your favorite food. Have you tasted the casserole made by Hunt's girlfriend? And if so, what's better, hers or your mums?

Shane

What was it like having Alan Ladd playing you in that film?

Will you win the Young Irish player of the year?

Do you like Terry's Chocolate Orange? If so would you expect to have to fight him for it or, as you'd be likely to be sub, would you surreptitiously nick it out of the changing room while he was out on the pitch

Artificial or real christmas trees?

Have you ever been contacted by the egg or chicken marketing boards to help with their advertising? If not it can't be too long as, remarkably, an anagram of your name is HEN SLOGAN.

Who do you room with on away trips?

Which Reading player is the most initmidating?

Who is the fastest player over 50 yards currently at Reading?

Make sure Shane brings his guitar into the studio and plays a couple of Christmas songs.

Shane, Tredderâ„¢ once famously hinted(1) that he'd seen you in an early friendly and commented that you had about as much talent as a lame donkey. What do you say to him now that you are playing (admittedly off the bench) in the Premier League?

Yours, Shredderâ„¢ (no relation).

(1) I said hinted, and he never mentioned any players names... in fact, it is debatable as to whether he even went to the game in question as he is actually a fake hoops supporter and not a true blue, and is well known to like a spot of fishing.
