Why on earth would a journalist, asking a question on behalf of other people, be sacked?

This is my opportunity to ask again whether the interview (or a transcript thereof) is available anywhere on the internet?

I still haven't heard it.

Agree with RL. Dellors questions were quite fair and Rogers reaction was childish. Scunny was a game we should have won - they were not a good side. I agree we had some bad luck and on another day the shots that hit the post / bar might have gone in but fact is we drew and it was another disappointing performance.

Dellor is only asking Rogers the questions we'd like to ask him if we could speak to him after every game.

I think the question should be "should Rogers be sacked" but there have been enough threads on here about that.

Should he be sacked for asking BR unwelcome questions? - No

Should he be sacked for having a manner and voice that makes me want to throw the radio out of the window? - IMO, yes.

No. He was asking questions many of us would like answered. You may not like Dellor's style but he was asking questions many of us would like answered. BR's reaction was inept, petulant and very unprofessional. The manager should be able to handle the media and not take the bait in the way he did. I guess Dellor has seen a great many more Reading matches than many commenting on HNA?, so he may have a genuinely reasonable view just like all the supporters who attend regularly and who don't have the opportunity to quiz the manager.

I don't get the total derision of Scunthorpe as a side that's been on here for the last few days.

They're not great obviously, but they've managed to get 23 points from their 21 games, including decent wins over Sheff U, Newcastle, and Palace, three sides who beat us, so why everyone is being quite so arrogant in their expectation of us seeing them off without any trouble I don't know.

As it turns out we should've beaten them easily if we'd been more clinical infront of goal, but that's nothing new over the last month or so.

The premise of Dellor's interview was that Saturday's performance against Scunney was worse that the performance against Palace. I do not think that view was right. Save for someone who can actually score Reading would have won easily on Sat. It was this incorrect view of Dellor's which got BR going.

should tim dellor be sacked?.....Not a chance in my opinion. If rogers cant take questions that go against his opinions, from someone who was voicing what many of us supporters feel, then i think it is brendan that should be relieved of his duties.for weeks now, his after match comments have been just a lot of "bluster".tim dellor comes across as being a true royals fan ,likewise mick gooding. keep up your excellent work tim.
