Jagermesiter1871 I looked the other day and it appeared you still can't get any printing on the shirts? shit show. I guess the only chance I have of getting my boy McIntyre on the back is buying his matchday shirt.

Yeah it is a total shit show that due to COVID the club shop has been closed and therefore services are limited. Something totally in the club's control

Since July? Just checked several rival clubs and they all still appear to be offering shirt printing. But I guess RFC have been harder hit by covid?

Probably, that's up to each club though, isn't it. RFC probably have put all of their staff on furlough as what is the point of them being in the store when there is going to be next to no custom? Why bother putting the staff through the risk?

That is just the way of the world at the moment.

Well maybe keep a couple staff on to complete online orders and print oxf*rd shirts? Other clubs appear to be capable of doing it. Shambles club.

Should probably tell them that, rather than moaning about it on here...

As far as I am aware, they are more than capable of completing online orders, yet cannot offer full services, which in times of COVID and the financial issues the club were facing, you can understand.

Good for other clubs, maybe you should support them, if this is such a big issue for you? That, or you need to re-align your priorities and maybe have a bit of patience. Present for your boy? Get him the shirt, and then when the shop re-opens fully, go up there and get the name printed. Or if can't do that, maybe do it next year?

Make no mistake, with the Casumo deal ending and the potential of banning betting company sponsorship - the club are doing a fine good job surrounding themselves with new partners and sponsors from other industry’s.

That means our Anniversary shirt is set for a new sponsor... hope it’s not ghastly

I’m hoping there will be a one-off kit worn with no sponsor, even if it is just for one game.

I heard that Pelada are coming back as the kit makers for a one off production?

God I hope it's nothing as bad as Carabao. That logo was just awful.

The Forest kit didnt have a sponsor on Saturday after their sponsor went into administration the day before. The kids shirts dont have sponsors and it just looks a little odd....

Agreed. Some seem to prefer sponsorless shirts but for me they just look boring.

Commercialism is so intrinsic to the game these days you not only can't imagine life without it, but actually feel it's a positive influence. I find that quite sad tbh.

Agreed. I personally hope they introduce triple sponsors on the front and back like they have in south america. We've already made a start with advertisements on the back of shorts but frankly this isn't enough.

I think it’s a shame there’s so many unknown betting companies as shirt sponsors. I liked it when it was predominantly household names like Carlsberg, Sharp, Crown Paints, Waitrose, etc. I’m not sure I even notice the shirt sponsors now, but that may be because I don’t gamble so have no interest in th vast majority. At least Carabao was a bit different.

Shirts look so much better without some other company’s corporate branded spackeration covering the front of it. The lack of sponsors on shirts may also encourage less of the stupid flash and twiddly “design” bits you get in general shirt design (eg. hoops that aren’t really hoops and silly pinstripes and unnecessary colour changes etc.). But then I’m more toward the old school where football should be just a game and not the money driven cr@pfest it is these days.

Yeh I used to think the same but seeing sponsor less shirts just looks boring and wrong to me now. I know I'm a capitalist sheeple.

The eye definitely gets used to seeing something there in the middle.

International kits have the number on the middle of the chest? Why?
