Tony Le Mesmer Almost sold out. LOL at people coming back out the woodwork for this.

No. Lot of people who go to a handful of games a season, have all chosen this as one to see.

Er, yeah thats just my point. Why this one, its basically a game between 2 teams contesting for mid table. It must just be the LOLeeds factor. Pretty embarrassing really.

How the oxf*rd is that embarassing?

It's twats like you that spout constant shit and are sheeps with your opinions as you babble crap.

No Fixed Abode To be fair...

It's probably broken down like this.

Reading fans 8,000
Other fans who have Reading as their 2nd team 8,000
Leeds fans in away end 4,000
Leeds fans in other parts of the ground 2,500
Corporate 1,500

Anyone who takes a sensible look at the attendances can see Reading have a solid 15,000 fanbase at this level. So around 4,000 more have decided this a game they fancy and Leeds as usual bring fantastic away support with maybe at the most a couple of hundred, if that even, in the Reading ends.

Show us Chelsea's attendances when they were in the second tier? In fact a brief look before Mr Harding invested shows what can only be described as pathetic levels of support.

If you stick an old 70s spin to it? Everybody hated Leeds enough to want to to turn up to games to see them. Call it cachet, glitz, whatever, the bastards had it, and some of it still retains.

I quite admire them for that, in some ways, being old school.

Massively 'greed. LOL at people who still think Leeds are a big club.

Oh I suppose that they built one of the largest cantilever stands in the world for a laugh, did they?
They know they can fill it.

The Sheffield clubs both have big fanbases, but their support is mainly derived from the locality itself, and the other clubs in that area have proportionately smaller fanbases, in line with their population.

Leeds, however, are one of those phenomenon. In exactly the same way as West ham are the Essex national side, then today, we are hosting the Yorkshire national side, whose support stretches all over that region.

LOL at the inverted snobbery whereby a team that can bring 5000 away to an average game like this in the second tier isn't considered a big club.

Personally I was left stunned by the level of carnage that resulted from the Leeds' fans standing throughout the game, jumping up and down and waving scarves and shirts around above the heads. It's now clear why the club take such a strong stance on home supporters who stand -it's just so damn dangerous!

FFS the council wont EVER do anything, so it IS the club. Actually i'm wrong, the whole of the east stand was shut the other game as 'punishment' for standing, you were right. 8)
