"You're the downstairs, you're the downstairs, you're the downstairs of the stand...."

Means im going to have to sit down, to stop all the moaners. Do you think there is any chance the whole stand, will stand for the duration?

I suppose a very late apology is better than none at all!

And on the plus side it is an unreserved apology with the Chairman's name behind it.

What concerns me is the absolute conviction that but for the free coach travel they would have got their ticket allocation spot on.

1600 supporters have opted for the free coach travel. I would suggest that a pretty large percentage of them would have still have wanted to go to the game, even without free travel. I also believe that the number of those who wanted to go but couldn't get tickets would have outweighed those who have only bought tickets because of the free travel. In other words 2,800 tickets was never going to be enough.

The reason why, all of those mentioned before. Top club, big spenders, lovely new(ish) stadium that most won't have visited, Quarter Final of the FA cup, our own team in a rich vein of form and, above all, very, very cheap tickets.

The apology refers to hindsight. Maybe they should concentrate more on foresight in the future. They might also find it worthwhile to get some input from supporters groups.

Probably because the leg room was suitable to that of a 6 year old!

I am in a quandry!

Got two tickets and hotel booked (Malmaison), but I don't think I'll go to the game cos it will interfere with a good session on Deansgate. Will keep the tickets just in case, so they might go to waste, but hey ho, I'll just play it by ear on the day.

It's true - going with a Reading supporting friend, but we'll probably get pissed and sack the football off. Done it numerous times before.

Malmaison at Picadilly has quite the reputation for older, gay men going cruising.

hes demonstrated hes a bigger man than you though at least
shame your post couldnt have been more balanced.
1 line admitting this was an apology, twenty bashing the club some more.
check out JMS one- the ratio is reversed, and thats how it shoud be with an apology
