TBM There is a picture of a white sleeve of the Reading kit with the Premiership badge on, on bus stops around town....

Is it just advertising the club, or the new kit? - i never know as i'm driving and dont have time to read it

No Fixed Abode Ok, just seen the new kit. Home shirt is like this. Sorry for the crudity of my photoshop. Not much time.

Effing disgusting, and doesn't seem to follow the form of any other kits released by puma for this coming year. Try again..?

Doesn't it?

Like it. If it had a blue collar would be a brilliant design. Hoops all the way round?

If you look to the ends of the white Waitrose hoop; looks like a blue back

The shirt won't be announced until near the end of July. Quite why anyone even acknowledges Kes' posts on this thread is a mystery. Why he bothers is an even bigger one.

Kes, why have you posted yet another shirt?

Have the club changed their mind for a 5th time?

Thanks then.

Mate you need to realise that Kes makes loads of mock kits and posts them.. none of them are actually the kit. The only time it has been the actual kit is when JD accidently put it up!

His mock ups do seem to get you and others a tad emotional tbf, hence why it has become a yearly event

But the joke is still also firmly on Kes for being enough of a tedious oxygen thief to waste his life doing it.

I quite like them to be honest something to look at while Reading keep us waiting for ever to release the kit!

Now i'm sure this question comes up every year, but i'm not sure it ever gets a factual answer - Why do Reading always seem to be one of the last teams to release it kit for next year, for sale or not?

Especially the away kit, as there was a period in the past that the away kit wasn't available until well into the new season, perhaps September time?

It can't be because we are "further down the pecking order" as many lower league teams have already released the new kit details, including Puma sponsored clubs.

It can't be because the wait will improve kit sales when it finally does launch, otherwise the likes of chelsea, man yoo and liverpool would do the same

Are RFC just rubbish at co-ordinating the same kit cycle each year? Losing out on valuable marketing opportunities and potential sales?

The one thing I've never understood like you M U R T Y is why - year on year the club always releases the replica shirts very late compared to most clubs. As you say, the big clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal have all released theirs. By releasing the kit late, the club is shortening the period in which the replica kits can be sold, therefore losing out on money in the bank which could be gaining interest.
