Sanguine It's grown on me very quickly. I like the message. I like that you can see the same stripes around Reading, including on buses. It's a shame we're sponsored by a car leasing company, in retrospect, but there we go.

Looking forward to seeing the away kit, if indeed it is as 'controversial'. When is it due? Have we ever started a season waiting for a kit launch?

Agree on the kit. I actually like it, although won't buy it as I think the cost of replica kits is something of a ripoff. As for sponsors, sadly a lot of those organisations with the money to sponsor football clubs maybe leave something to be desired ethically/environmentally. Given the choice, however, I would still opt for a car leasing company (who to be fair will be increasingly supplying slightly more environmentally friendly vehicles), over a betting company.

Hound Our new keeper kit out and disappointingly bland

Fully agree. Unless one of our new keepers turns out to be brilliant, I can't see them shifting many of that colour/design.

Indeed. Hardly see car leasing as an evil of this world. Unlike betting companies

I'm a bit surprised that the electric vehicle-arm of SCL wasn't used as the sponsor:

Seems like it would have been a logical choice and mitigated a lot of the criticism.

Are we doing an away kit this year or finally enacting our home kit royal county rule?

The kit actually looked very good in person at Blackpool and you couldn't really see the sleeves from a distance.

The keeper kit has been announced last week. Scan the official site and you’ll see it. It’s not very exciting

Keeper kits aren’t exactly known for being exciting though.

Did remind me of this

Which defeats the whole object of it.

Does it?

Will all media images/videos be taken from a distance? Or will there be lots of close-ups, which will continue the debate/raise awareness?

Seems a weird list. There are some awful kits on there and then some genuinely nice ones. Whats wrong with PSGs Jordan kit for example? Not to mention ours.

Bournemouth’s ‘Flash Gordon’ kit didn’t make that list either.
