by riverroyal » 12 Feb 2013 08:46

Does anyone know how much tickets are going to be for the away matches at Old Trafford and the Emirates in the league next month?

Arsenal looks like being a relatively bargainous £25.50 unless they change the category, which would mean c. £3 per goal conceded.
If they upgrade it to Cat B,t hen it would be £35.50

Home fans non member seats in lower tier are £26 which is the equivalent of our seats. They aren't allowed to charge us more. Bargain if you ask me.

Can I just say well done to Arsenal on this. A lot is said about how expensive it is to go there, particularly after they charged £62 for Man City fans, but they clearly realise that, at least for smaller clubs, charging large sums would just be extortion!

If only Manchester United could have the same realisation.

I believe this will make it the second cheapest away game, after Wigan, in the league this season. And in a league where a certain tinpot club who play in a shed in someone's back garden charged £45 for us to teeter in that ancient away end!

West Brom was 'only' £25, but yep fair fcuks to Arsenal, that's sensible pricing.

Would have been nice to know our allocation for Arsenal considering how cheap the tickets are.

All I'd say is I wouldn't both coming if I didn't live in London...

What does that actually mean? That there won't be any direct trains between Reading and Paddington?

It means Reading Station closed over the Easter weekend as part of the redevelopment works :

Saturday & Sunday Engineering work between Twyford and Tilehurst / between Tilehurst and Pangbourne Between 23:00 Saturday and 08:00 Sunday, some trains between London Paddington and Reading will be amended to start from / terminate at Twyford, with a connecting bus service between Twyford and Reading.

After 23:00 on Sunday, trains will not call at Pangbourne. A replacement bus service will be provided to connect with trains at Tilehurst.

I fully expect to get told to ring the ticket office but I thought I'd try here first.

I may get tickets on my girlriends ST to get me in a couple of days early. I'm guessing the club send paper tickets, do they always post them to the registered address or can you ask that they be posted elsewhere? Is it possible to pick them up from the ground (Emirates) on the day at all? Cheers

What are the chances of Arsenal tickets being available to member card holders with no more than a handful of points?

With just under 3000, I think it should be OK considering how many went to Chelsea/ QPR, although it is cheaper. We should really get London Royals priority booking...
