Peterborough - refund the fans?

by Clyde1998 » 28 Aug 2013 21:26

If in wrong section, please move.

Should Reading refund the fans that travelled to the game yesterday?

There were 373 Reading fans at Peterborough last night - adult tickets cost £15 (I believe).

Reading get 33.3% of ticket revenue from this game there was 4,496 in total at the game.

Reading fans: 373 * 15 = £5,595
Reading received: (4,496 * 15) / 3 = £22,480

How hard is it to refund the people who went!?

getting your money back because your team lost is a wonderful idea.could make the price of a season ticket more attractive.

I went and I honestly don't want a refund. I payed for a game of football, I saw a game of (one sided) football. I wouldn't mind docking the players wages though as they certainly didn't do their job of playing football.

No. (I didn't go)

Cup match. Ressie side. Chance of poor performance.

^ These things were known before you bought your tickets.

You saw some gr8 football (from Posh), lots of goals and enjoyed some gallows humour.

Quit bitchin'

I didn't go but I just read the match report and it hurts my feelings.

I should get a slice of that revenue.

I'm not "bitchin'" - I just thought the question should be asked. (I didn't go either).

I, personally, wasn't expecting a reserve side - I was expecting changes (one or two), but not nine (I think it was).

What a load of f*cking sh*t, the question shouldn't even be asked. When you pay to watch a game of football you buy into the fact that absolutely anything can happen. Just because the club your allegiance is held with is involved doesn't mean you should be offered a refund if they happen to play sh*t. There are so many clubs that play shit and get spanked, but refund? Really...? :|

NO! Let's refund AZ for the free-transfers he's signed for us. He's really going all out to see us back in the Prem.

Just reading about the match brought on a full scale nervous breakdown. I am under the doctor for my nerves. This bloke down the pub says I could sue. When I stop crying I might.

PTSD from the 0-6 Walsall away in the eighties, can I claim?

Seriously, for such a paltry amount of fans, maybe a small (pie or pint like) gesture (funded purely from the players wages) could be made to those who can be bothered to claim?

The me, me, me generation that wants compensation for everything needs to understand that in football you pay to watch your team play not necessarily win.

I'd be a millionaire if they refunded me for some of the shite I watched in the seventies. Guess it would be a complicated equation though

Lack of enjoyment of game minus time enjoyed in pub prior to game (arguably wouldn't have been there if not for game) - etc. et fukkin cetera.

Maybe they could do a questionnaire after every game about how satisfied people are. Quality of football, pies, beer, crowd, singing and whether it was up to expectation or not. Why haven't STAR sorted this out. They're fukkin useless.

No thanks. Couldn't care about the result. Just the performance.

If Peterborough were my local team. Happily go and watch them. Like Spurs reserves who I pop over the road to watch. There's some good talent in the lower leagues.
