EPR2.0 Can anyone explain to me why a training ground needs 15 pitches?
Manchester United "only" have 14 at Carrington.
MUFC are better than us so we need more practice.

URZZZZZ Golf club members believed the golf club land was worth around £800,000, but understand Reading FC bid around £1.4 million, a sum that crushed any hopes of golfers raising a rival sum.

But you are meant to wait for the training facilities to open before you start kicking a football around there.

Nameless Regarding the sale price - the land being bought covers more than just the golf course and I believe the sums involved are larger than quoted. The sellers want to sell the lot, not just the golf course, so I doubt the golf club was ever going to be able to mount a buy out just for their couple of fields....and I remember when the golf course was pretty much just two fields !

The golf course is only about half of it, I believe. Think it includes the equestrian centre (?) next door as well as other surrounding land.
