Ticket update - well over 4,000 sold.

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article ... 96389.aspx

Fans should act immediately!
Tickets for Reading's FA Cup Quarter Final at Bradford City on March 7th have almost sold out.

Any supporters still wishing to attend the game are advised to act fast in order to secure their seat for only the club's fifth Quarter Final in its 144-year history.

With the winners of the game guaranteed a trip to Wembley, hundreds of tickets were snapped up by Royals fans within minutes of going on general sale at 9am on Monday morning.

And with tickets for the tie remaining in very high demand, the club swiftly contacted Bradford City to formally request the previously agreed additional allocation of a further 1,587 seats.

Having received confirmation of the additional allocation from Valley Parade, the club immediately went back on general sale to all Reading supporters, with sales now well over the 4,000 mark.

Fans who have already secured their place should note that the club will begin to post tickets out towards the end of this week.

The last eight encounter at Bradford kicks off at 12.45pm on Saturday 7th March and prices are as follows:

Ticket Prices:
Adults £15
60 & over £10
Students with valid ID £10
15 & under £5

Tickets are available by phone on 0118 968 1313, online at http://www.readingfcdirect.co.uk or in person at the Madejski Stadium Ticket Office.

Have just read that Bradford are having to open up redundant areas of the stadium and add new seating to it to accomodate fans affected by their ticketing fiasco. Hope these areas are rigoruously tested before the game as they have not been used for 15 years!

Says in upper west so maybe not as bad as when I first read it as obviously the upper tier is currently used.

Looks like the tickets have sold out as none available online. Didn't expect that to happen before they went on sale but fair play.

I had to phone up on Tuesday as I thought that. Not available online, but ticket office has limited numbers - I got 3.

Pretty sure it's the uncovered seats at the bottom left of this picture. They weren't used for the Sunderland game.

Sounds right, they said it was uncovered. They have been asking for fans to come and help them remove the seats ready for the new ones to be put in.
