True.

However, to organise this would of taken a few people's time. Yet the ticket office seems to have been massively understaffed to deal with recent demand - with tickets being sent out late and to wrong addresses. Think that time could of been utilised there..

Isn't this the sort of stuff the STAR would donate their time to?

genome

genome If I were Arsenal, I would sneak into the Reading end and rearrange all the shirts so when everyone puts them on it spells out "Plastic Cunts" in big white letters across the stand.

Lets not pretend we are the only club where fans come out of nowhere when the club is doing well. It happens.

If just the regulars turned up tomorrow it would look pretty fckin patchetic wouldnt it?!?

Quite. It'd just be funny.
Especially when half of them leave on 80 minutes when we're winning to get out of the carpark early.

Maybe we'll be able to locate the Arsenal fans by the ones who don't join in.

Compo's Hat
LWJ
Compo's Hat How many in the upper tier are actual Reading fans though? Know my Fulham mate coming along won't be wearing it let alone all the Arsenal up there.

There will be plenty of regulars down the bottom who won't bother either and hate this modern football rubbish, myself included.

Just hold it up Compo ffs.

Nah, you're alright.

I think I'll pass too thanks.

Reading FC: Questionable as to the quality of our football, but we can make a pretty picture...

Am I being a bit of a thicky?

What about club wembley seats? Won't there be a multicoloured, red dominated hoop in the middle of the upper and lower tiers?

It's only the reading tickets that get one not the neutral club wembley ones

So. As I said. The club wembley seats, between the top 2 hoops and bottom 2 hoops could be a stripe of red? Multi-coloured? Could look very weird between some hoops couldn't it?

Anyway. I'm still excited. Anything for a freebie. Just a shame it isn't a biscuit!!!

I was expecting the club to do something. A little worried it might have been flags, or clappers, or fecking rumblestix. Freebie Ts actually a nice touch and for relatively little outlay they've got some pretty iconic images for the club history books.

Approved.

Really good idea. Spoiled by a) the tv didn't bother showing a shot of it and b) the fact that the middle tier is red in basic colour all the way round the stadium and no shirts were laid out in that level.

And as for the killjoys who always have to be negative about everything the club tries to do in building an atmosphere

I don't think the Arsenal fans would have helped us out tbh.

As a sometime critic of the way the club does things i think on this occasion they played a blinder. I for one was proud to sit there and look up and see the blue and white around our half of the ground.
Well done RFC.

+1 It was fantastic (although I didn't actually get a bloody shirt & someone kindly gave one to me)

Looked fantastic, although a bit harsh of the club not to lay out any shirts in the last couple of rows of the bottom tier.

I know being under the shadow of the overhang meant you couldn't really see us in any of the pictures, but still it would have been nice to have been included.

Completely agree. It looked amazing, and even though it was essentially a piece of tat that would go in a drawer and never see the light of day after the event... I kind of felt a bit left out. Still, memories are better than mementos, so I'm over it!
