Putney End - Capacity 7,281

The Putney End houses HOME & MIXED areas. It also hosts the official AWAY area.

The area adjacent to the Cottage pavilion is known as ‘Cottage Corner’, as it is nearest to the players’ entrance & the iconic Cottage pavilion which was constructed in 1905.

The make-up of the Away & Neutral areas varies depending on the size of the visiting support. In general terms Away supporters are allocated either 1800 or 3000 tickets.

An access tunnel beneath the stand links the Putney Turnstiles with the Riverside Stand. Whilst fans with Putney End tickets cannot access the Riverside Stand, there are toilets located in the access tunnel under Block P1 which are open for public use.

Most of the catering, toilet and betting facilities are located on the concourse directly behind the stand. Visiting supporters will find additional kiosks located in the open area beyond Block P7, backing onto the river.

An area accessible to wheelchair users who support the visiting team is located in Block P7.

Additional mobile catering kiosks are opened at half-time on the access ramp that leads down to the turnstile entrance, next to the Cottage pavilion.

Front Row: A (Blocks P2, P3, P5, P6); B (Blocks P1, P4, P7)
Back Row: ZZ
Total Rows: 52
Uncovered Rows: A – E
Stairwell Entrance: Row JJ

We've sold just over 2000 of the 2800 so far. With the game still 2 and almost 3 weeks away I'd imagine we'd request a bigger allocation.

Oh and officially IN!

I think it does find its way home, but I've yet to see it.

I actually want a different avatar but file size restrictions has frustrated my search in the past.

If we could get over 3000, or maybe 3500-4000 there it would be a great atmosphere. Could be one of the best actually in terms of feel-good away days

Update - nearly 2,500 tics sold. Club looking to request more by all accounts. Like bobby said this is going to be epic. Attended by lots and lots of Reading fans. Deep joy 8)

2500 ?
That's a pretty poor turnout. Are we impressed if a team fills one side of the South Stand ?
For probably the best away game of the season, easy to get to and us flying I think that's a disappointing number. 2 weeks still to go though so perhaps we'll get 4000, anything less would be sad.

You can't say 2500 is a poor turnout when there is still over two weeks to go to the game.

Also, the 2500 is tickets sold by RFC in our end. We know that some RFC fans have already got tickets in the neutral side.

We will take between 3300-3800. No doubt.
