Auf Wiedersehen £170m

by AthleticoSpizz » 29 May 2017 19:53

Well, that was that, but as losers, how much money would have the whole play-off experience grossed the club?

Neither of our promotions in the past seem to have improved the club's financial position longer term, indeed, the second one seems to have nearly bankrupted it.

Unless you can go up and stay it, the club itself seems to make sod all, the players/agents etc more so

Wasn't it agreed that the loser get the gate receipts? £3 million.

That's what I'm talkng about Wiggso.

Ok, so we've missed out one the big bucks once again, but like a decent cup-run, the play-off adventure must bring in a decent windfall....even if it is no comparison to Huddersfields'

Mostly the case, although iirc over the first two seasons up there we banked about £12m to make up for the years of losses to get there.

SEE Tickets are the real winners here I reckon.

I had no issue with the booking process other than the exorbitant admin fee but that's the same everywhere.

I found it frustrating that you couldn't look at your seats and choose - faffing about asking for seats, rejecting and asking again to try to get rows higher up was a pain.

But other than that, was fine.
