C1871 - what is the deal on Saturday at 2:55pm? Inside the ground and positive songs throughout or are you chanting Pauno out?

St Pauli Club 1871 planning a protest for the Coventry home game.

The club must be shitting it.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend today.

As a result Pauno is still in role.

Had I attended the club would have caved and sacked him.

I carry a lot of weight in this town.

If you insist.

Just gave the club board a bell.

They’ll be sacking Pauno tomorrow.

Had this through earlier....just for the record.

"The group of fans, who initially formed Club 1871, alongside staff at the club have worked hard together to create a safe environment in which supporters can build a loud positive atmosphere at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, backing the team throughout every one of the 90 minutes. The concept has been very successful and the atmosphere at the stadium has improved as a direct result of the club’s and our fans’ commitment to Club 1871. However, at a number of recent home fixtures, a small minority of young supporters within the Club 1871 section of the stadium have demonstrated behaviour which is overly aggressive and antagonistic, dangerous to themselves and others and is not in line with the encouraging, positive environment which Club 1871 is built upon and continues to promote.

Specifically, this behaviour has included running across the segregation netting, use of pyrotechnics and throwing items into the visiting fans section; this type of entirely unacceptable behaviour could result in causing serious damage or injury and may potentially invoke significant penalties or punishments for our fans and the club from the police or the football authorities. During our most recent home game against Birmingham City on Tuesday 22nd February, some of the behaviour from this minority was unacceptable and subsequently resulted in a number of supporters being ejected from the stadium bowl. This unnecessarily wasted both the time and effort of club staff and the police time.

We would like to remind all supporters in Club 1871 that this section of the stadium is dedicated to encouraging the players out on the pitch to perform to the best of their ability. Sing your hearts out. Chant from the first minute to the last. But Club 1871 has never been about goading away fans nor berating our players’ mistakes. And, to our loyal fans who have witnessed this disappointing behaviour in recent games, please accept our apologies on behalf of the small group of supporters in question.

Overwhelmingly, our supporters’ behaviour remains impeccable, both at home - across all four stands - and on our travels to away grounds. However, it can only take a very small minority to spoil it. It is, of course, only a small minority – but for everyone’s safety, to comply with ground regulations and crucially to uphold the very essence of Club 1871, this behaviour will not be tolerated.

Thank you, as ever, for your support.

Come on URRRZZZZ! Up the ‘ding!"

I stopped reading because I can't read the words "Select Car Leasing Stadium" without throwing up

But good post. Unfortunately I think it will be impossible to clean up C1871 and it is tarnished with the selfish few who drink and think they can abuse fans. It's got too big now to 'control' per se

I am scared to take my child to Club1871 as I honestly think it will not he a safe environment compared to the ED stand or East stand due to the behavior of these youths which is such a shame

Having you as a father has traumatised the child already.

Let the kids have their fun.
Plenty of room elsewhere if you're scared by some North Face wearing herberts.

Yes I am sure that a 3 year old will be fine by this behaviour :|

Why should we let people go to football to throw flares about?

Not sure I'd be taking a 3 year old to football anyway. I didn't start going until I was 6/7.

I take my two grandsons 7 and 11 they love the atmosphere in 1871 but club need to clamp down better policing and stewards to stop this minority enjoying the better atmosphere. I Agree with the club 1871 statement .

Why should we allow away fans to come here and have a good day out?

C1871 should put on bootcamps for the youth firm so that our reputation becomes bigger.

I went when I was 7 on a regular basis, my first one off game was 4 years old, but I have taken my son to watch the local non league team and he loves it, but that is a lot different to be fair

Especially as the Reading players already let the away have a good day out at the SCL.
