Wigan (a)

Any takers? Only £15 a ticket. Due to other commitments, and being flaky af, this'll be my first away game of the season.

Yeh, I'll be going with my m8 from Warrington. So 4 of us. Should be enough for a couple of games of poker dice and penny up the wall.

£60 train and only 2 hours out of London...seriously considering this. 4 tins each way plus 2 pints before and 2 at half time. Should easily be doable

In with 2/3 of my children.....only an hour and a half from home for us, so at those prices it seemed rude not to......

Probably do this x2 (again!) and have a pre match pie at the away bar.

Going to my first away game, flying into Manchester that morning.
Can't imagine there'll be a massive following, but where's the away pub? Or is it usual to just congregate at the DW Stadium away bar?

There's a bar at the stadium, by the away end. Or the Red Robin, which is a few mins walk. Other than, looks like there's a couple of decent pubs in town, but they're about 20 mins away.

I'm in for this as well.

Got my train tickets for me and my boy for just £52. And being just 2 hours by train from Euston mean it feels like a local derby. It would be nice if we could take a few up.

The away fans are treated better than the home fans at Wigan, we have our own bar below the away end which feels like you've stumbled into someone's wedding party.

Shame I can't be there to share the pies and Cheessy Chips. Counted only 3 shopping trolleys in he canal on last walk from the station, definitely an area on the up. enjoy.

11:30 Orion? That means we'll be on the same train..... damn.

Let me know what carriage you're in and I'll make sure I am at the other end of the train.

The Wigan game should be alright.

It's the Rotherham game that looks like it could be more impacted by the strike action.

The trains between Doncaster and Sheffield are going to be reduced. Rotherham being on that route.

They didn't bother opening the Marquee bar for us. There was the Red Robin pub nearby or Frankie and Bennys.
