JR Has anyone received details yet on how to allocate their credit from last season against the cost of the retainer?

Not sure you can. I thought it could be used against the full payment.

Just read the FAQ, should be an email, sent out this week with a voucher code which you can use.,says if not rec I’ve done by 21/9 contact the club. So Imguess if you have credit and want to use it you need to wait a bit...

windermereROYAL So if we don`t get back to capacity this season (which looks likely) then the retainer will run into next season.

Correct.

In for the wait until we can get in the ground.
Had wondered whether I’d renew this year (as a protest against the treatment of Brian McDermott) but it kind of seems right to show some solidarity with the club, the team, and fellow fans.

Gotta hand it to our owner, they really do try their hardest to look after the fans.
Great idea to have a retainer. Credit to him.
He must be losing a small fortune at this club at the minute.

With talk of further national or regional lockdowns, this from the FAQ is quite reassuring - Our non refundable up front payments will not be lost, but will be rolled over to 2021/22
Should sufficient capacity to accommodate all Season Ticket Holders NOT be achieved during the 2020/21 season, there will be no balance due and the Club will ensure initial payments are credited against Season Tickets for 2021/22.

Yeah, it seems pretty risk free, tbh.

Decent approach from the club once again and one that is likely to suit most supporters.

My Fake Hoops supporting neighbour was moaning about their approach but, having looked on their site, it really doesn't seem that bad. Yes, they want the full price up front but are providing free live streaming of all home and midweek away games free of charge through QPR+. They will also give a pro-rata credit for each game closed behind closed doors or where a season ticket holder is unable to attend a home game due to crowd capacity restrictions.

The QPR approach would actually work out significantly cheaper for those of us who intend to watch home games via iFollow but it's not easy to please all of the people all of the time and I won't criticise RFC for the approach that they have chosen to adopt.

Just got the vouchers for the unused season tickets from last year. Not sure if they're giving away too much but each voucher for each game is £26, so £130 in total. Season ticket only cost £299. Has everyone else got the same vouchers.

I would have preferred that deal for us.Full Season ticket purchase up front ,then free I Follow until we can go to games.Whether we feel comfortable attending is then left up to us.

I didn't take any credit from last season so not sure on this, but presumably, you'd be able to claim it back on tickets for games this season/next season.

I have just received my credit voucjers via email.
I received 5 x £26.30 email vouchers - total = £131.50. Which when totalled works out exactly 5 credits for an adult and OAP missing games from 2019-20. I requested both credits (mum and me) from my online account back in July - hence why the credits were sent to my email address.
And you can use them to pay for this season's retainer. You can add/ redime more than one voucher per transaction.
