Old greyhound/speedway car park

by DelBoyRodders » 11 Aug 2021 12:20

Can anyone who attended last night's EFL Cup game against Swansea confirm whether the old greyhound/speedway car park was open?
And if not, do they know if it is to be open on Saturday and throughout the season?

Believe it's in use for league games this season.

Same subject, different car park. Are the Holiday Inn on Basingstoke Road still doing football parking and is it still £10?

A friend of mine phoned me from the stadium at Tuesday's Cup game and in conversation I asked him here he parked. His reply was "same place as normal - at the Holiday Inn."
So to answer your question, yes the Holiday Inn is again open for football parking this season.

By the way to anyone else who is interested, I have now received confirmation that the old greyhound/speedway car park is open again this season. Cost £10, but card payment only (no cash).

I noticed more and more Green Park sites are barrier controlled or now have signs up saying illegal parking results in fine. Been parking there for years with no drama.
