Royal_jimmy Hopefully we can take at least 2k. Usually when we take big followings we dont do well though

Might be difficult if we only have a 1800 allocation tbf, but if we sell out that will be a good following so far up north.

If the demand is there, they may release more tickets. The stand holds 6,257 and I don't think I've ever seen it hold home fans.

I don't think I've ever seen it hold home fans either.

I don't like Barnsley's ground, it just looks completely out of date.

No, I love it. Very traditional and the concourse is great. We are very lucky to be given a whole stand of that size too - your Peterboroughs, for example cram away fans down the side in the corner

It's literally falling apart and the red brick outside the ground as well as the paint coming off the turnstiles looks like a poor scene from an 80's football game!

I can understand why fans from that era would favour it though.

While I much prefer to keep as many 3pm kick offs as possible, isn't it strange how Sky didn't decide to pick up a relegation six pointer? Instead they've seemingly gone for Hull vs Huddersfield and Birmingham vs West Brom.

I'm surprised they didn't go for it either, considering they did last season around the same time when we were both fighting at different ends of the table and because our game vs Peterborough was also live on TV back in February as well. The other 2 fixtures aren't that great. Huddersfield are still gunning for the PO's but Hull aren't doing anything now and Birmingham vs West Brom is just a dead rubber derby.

From a rough count on the website there are about 324 seats left.

Bit of snow up here in West Yorkshire in the early hours of this morning as well as a little bit forecasted for tonight as well, but not overnight as far as I'm aware. Seems like it's come at the right time as opposed to Friday night which could have caused travel disruptions for fans making their way up Saturday morning.

1500 is a very good following, hopefully a few more will come along as well before the game roles around.
