If the sleeves had been the same colour then the kit would had been good, it just looks stupid with those sleeves. :?

This kit really is not as bad as alot of people are making out, you would think their world was about to end.
I don't think it's too bad and it will look better in short sleeves.
Although for replica kit wearers I suppose it's one of the most nerve wracking moments of the season when new shirts are shown..

Didnt really like last seasons home kit, and loved the away kit, so that was my lucky kit.

This season its the other way round, love the home kit, hate the away kit.

I wanted to buy our first ever Premier League shirt but I'm really having second thoughts given the pile of shyte Puma/the club have produced!

Could have made a bit more of an effort to make it something special (other than for being an absolute mess of a 'design').

I guess that's the problem with being one of Puma's smaller clients - we get stuck with the work experience kid!

tomrfcurz What do u think of the new kit

It's really grown on me and I will defo be getting a home shirt, as I haven't done so since the Div 1 play-off with Wolves.

Hate the sleeves but I never buy a long sleeved shirt anyway so it's matters not.

It's different and I think it works.

Farnborough Royal What it should have looked like IMO.

And that's why the first Puma kit was the best for a while - even so the new one is pretty hideous - but it's not as bad as ManUre's conference kit.

My concern is that this kit reduced are chances of survival for next season for the following 3 reasons:

1) The players are used to wearing last year's kit and associating it with victory

2) Last season's kit had a collar which (IMHO) is much more comfortable to wear so leads to a slightly higher performance level

3) It is vital that players are always aware where their teammates are on the pitch. This is done through instant recognition (in milliseconds) partly as a result of recognising the kit. With the new kit it looks different from both sides (because of the ridiculous arms) so the instant recognition will not work as effectively.

While these are all minor points they all potentially reduce our effectiveness very slightly. Why would the club want to take the risk?

Good news - If the current trend continues we should have a new home kit for the season after this.... unless the club actually decide to keep to 2 yr cycles

The sleeves and collar are revolting. It will be the worst kit in the Premier league.
