Man Utd cup tickets

by Jerry St Clair » 29 Jan 2007 14:18

OK, here we go. Glory hunting splastics of the world unite!

Firstly, how many tickets were Pompey allocated for Saturday? I'm expecting us to get something like 9k........

the fishy few took 3k from a possible 6k

You are allowed a max of 15% for cup games (with no cap) so we should be allowed 11,400!! However, i have a feeling MUFC have dispensation for this, and offer a max of 7k!

money talks i guess......................

Pompey only took 3K? That is surprising

35 minute trip into Manchester - get in!

If we're given 7,000 then I'd estimate we'll take 3,500 - 4,000 max. But we'll still make more noise than the other 70,000+.

£30 a ticket, only played them recently at OT. 5:15pm KO and on BBC. Not surprising really.

Pompey were offered 6,000 and took less than 3,000.

As someone said, the letter of the law says that we should give over 11,000. This has never been the case, whether or not it's down to away clubs not having the selling power I do not know, I only think that Liverpool and maybe City would take that many anyway.

Aggro, what does the upper tier behind the goal hold? Because don't away teams get all of that for cup games?

So, it'd be that + the 3,000 in the "normal" away end.

I think Burton probably took about 1000, and the rest was made up of daytrippers

3k in the corner would be good.

Remember the 7k we took to Arsenal? It was shit with all the daytrippers. If we take 11k the atmosphere will be terrible. 3k in the corner for a nice sing-song.

Marvellous.
