AJ~
RG30 I don't tend to buy much stuff from the club shop but the DVD is certainly one I'll be purchasing. Part 1 was good but long, so 2 should be decent.

Think it was Rawlie19 who had recorded every game version of Football First onto DVD.

I've done that too. Each DVD has the Football First match and the Match of the Day recording plus any other little tidbits that I happened to record (eg. a Premier League Preview feature).

If you want to make me a version, then I would be interested to buy. You can never have too much football on DVD

Yeah, did them all, but due to dodgy DVD recorder I lost 2 games. Liverpool away and ... can't remember the other one... It was another loss for us though. I also started doing some sleeves for them all, and had up to Christmas done (hours and hours worth of work) when my hard drive crashed and I lost the lot. Haven't done any since then.

Huntley & Palmer Club have confirmed on an email to me that once Part 2 is released on DVD, they will also be offering a box set of both parts at a cheaper price than buying both separately
b@st@rds, I've not even got round to watching part one!

I certainly won't be buying "Part One" next season

Seems a bit harsh on those who spent the £20 pre Christmas that they'll end up paying £10 extra, had it been announced at the time I would have waited until now to save myself a tenner.

I'm going to complain and ask for a discount on part two.

Those who bought part one are the most loyal curtomers so to charge them more for investing in a half finished product at launch than those who choose to sit on their cash is a disgrace.

 I've come to learn that folks round here will complain and moan about pretty much anything. This is hardly unprecedented is it. TV series, films, books, - similar practices can be found in all these areas.

Will the pre-ordered (by customers) box-sets be sent out today, or tomorrow?

IIRC, when Part One came out, the club said that there would not be a boxed set of both parts.

Why would you want a DVD of a season where the 1st half we played some good stuff, and oxf*rd up the second half going 3 months without winning a game subsequently throwing away our chances of Premiership football for that following season?

If your that desperate for it, buy Reading World and archieve the footage.

2003-2004 was a much worse season but the club still did a DVD for that one. I'd take a Kitson hat-trick against West Ham and a 2-1 win at Sunderland over a 3-0 defeat at home to Wimbledon and a 5-1 hammering at Millmoor any day of the week.

Always somebody elses fault.

Will there be enough copies for the demand this time?
