Platypuss I'm pretty sure the outside world doesn't see a huge difference.

Are you going to try and argue that we aren't reliant on Mr Mad?

He hasn't yet even had so much as a hair put out of place by the surge of outside investors wanting to take us over.

I personally feel that is a direct function of the price he is quoting. What was it? £250Mill? When the likes of Newcastle, Man C et al are on the market for reported figures some way south of £100M, it does serve as a reality check.

Where did you see a price quoted ? I can;t recall having seen a figure and £250 million seems way over the odds.

If that is a figure he has mentioned then it gives a very clear message - he has no interest in selling but if someone slaps silly money on the table....

Bit like the old 'what is Kevin Doyle worth' debate - £25 million sounds a good number becasue he's not for sale.

I like it. Takes a bit of getting used to but picture qualityand size is much better. The gallery is good. Large photos instead of small pics with the occassional large one.

In the interview with Cisse the interviewer said (words to the effect) that Cisse's English wasn't that bad because he knew big words like ambience!!

Man City don't own their own ground, though, so that suggests they would be cheaper to buy than Reading...? But I agree, not by £150 million!

Thought the new site was good myself. Also liked the comment about ambience. Made me chuckle.

Stadium pics looked good.

Pretty sure it was Madjeski himself who threw the £250m figure out, does sound a tad high though. Hopefully he'll never sell......

The only figure I heard quoted was around £85m in the EP.

I think the site as a whole is scrappy and disgusting. Someones just whacked it together in 5 minutes so it almost fits on one page with as many advertisements (one halfway through each article) as possible.

I prefer the old one.

ALTHOUGH good comment about the pictures... much better than the readingfc.co.uk saturated ones...!

I don't see that could be the selling price, sounds more like how much he would expect to cost someone to run the club over a period of time, hence his statement that it requires a billionaire to make a go of it rather than a relative pauper such as himself.

The tabs get skewed in Firefox, and no I'm not going to use IE just because their web designers are crap.

Works fine in Firefox on my works PC under Windows, as well as my main machine (Linux) and laptop (Windows) at home.

Don't like the layout much, but in my experience it does work under Firefox.
