Thats a good price. Whats the Hotel you booked with? i had a quote at £48 which i didnt think was that bad, so i'll be hoping to get my accomodation at this price or similar price to you for sure, cheers.
Im told there is a hotel that overlooks the ground, but seeing pictures of their stadium on footballgroundguide.com i hadnt notice it, there again they're probably old'ish photogrpahs!

I remember going to Blackpool first game of the season when Reading got promoted from league 1. Guess none of you remember that.

I remember us winning 4-0 there and the team being applauded off the pitch by the Blackpool fans.

I also won a cuddly toy at the fun fair

How long are people staying up there for?

I was thinking of going up Sunday morning and travelling back Tuesday morning.

First time I went up there we won 1-nil with a classic curling header into the top corner from J. Quinn must have been early 90s.

Remember getting chips on beach, few beers and 3 points for the way home. When we scored someone was running back and forth along the front of the away end and fell over - very funny. I suppose you would of had to have been there!!

Tried to find on archives but they don't go that far back! Obviously showing my age!
