Personally find it odd that Sterling and Grealish didn’t step up for pens but it’s easy to say from the outside that X, Y or Z should have taken it. Could Rashford and Sancho have come on earlier to get more of a feel for the game? Perhaps but Rashford was playing RB in his short stint on the pitch so would have been a huge risk

To be fair to them both they probably would have stepped forward, Southgate said the penalty takers were decided in training. I don't agree with that approach in all honesty. Big difference between Saka taking one in front of his mates to the 5th penalty in a European Championship final. Always been an advocate of the players who are up for it and confident putting themselves forward at the time.

To an extent yeah - each player reacts different to pressurised situations which should be considered but as a rule of thumb, you’d generally expect your more attacking senior players to step up. Obviously not applicable here if it was decided in training, which I agree is rather futile as it’s chalk and cheese

6ft Kerplunk Also think Foden missing out with injury last night was key, he looked so good when he came on in the semi and could've made the difference towards the end of normal time and extra time.

Very much this. Foden was a big miss last night.

Reckon he may have started instead of Mount. Mount is a great little player but you know what you get from him, Foden has that x-factor that helps when up against the likes of Bonucci and Chiellini.

Mount is probably a safer bet so think he would have kept his place regardless with Foden off the bench

I hadn’t realised he was injured. He was the ideal player to bring on when the team were flagging in the second half.

Me neither. So much so I started calling for him to come on after 60 minutes much to my embarrassment on social media.

That’s one life ruined through just 5 words

Aside from the vile comments, how can someone be so stupid to put that up for everyone to see? What’s he hoping for it to actually achieve?

Savills have immediately 'launched an investigation', but he's toast already. Appears, from what I'm reading on Twitter, that he was operating a second shadow account which he used to post his racist and mysoginistic shit, and in his excitement to do so last night, posted from the wrong account.

Until a proper sentence is given to people like him it will carry on. A mandatory year inside would be good, no early release.

Far be it from me to defend NSP but wasn’t his quote simply an observation of the ex-Savills employee ?
