3 Brazilians clean through and they still can't score. Let's sign the Mexican keeper and play with no defence next year!

Not a great first half. This has got 0-0 written all over it.

Ian Royal
Royal Rother There are more leagues than just the English league!

Or was that a whoosh?

The point being the English league is one of the biggest in the world, so that's a stupendous number to be playing abroad professionally.

If the number is true, I'd guess they are using a very liberal use of the word professional.

I could believe 5000 professional Brazillians worldwide if you include Brazil.

I can believe it. there's shitloads of Braziians playing in minor leagues all over Asia, we're talking Sunday League standard but if they only get paid 20 rupees or something like that to play they're still classed as professional.

Mexico just need to get a few shots on target. They've only got a QPR reserve to beat.

Pepe the Horseman Fred's not very good, is he?

Narrowing it down to just him is a bit harsh based on how the rest of them are playing so far.

bbc For the fourth year running, the home of the beautiful game provided Europe's 478 top-division sides with over 500 players - nearly double the second biggest exporter, France.

Harsh but fair.
Pre game analysis was saying how much he did last game without touching the ball. Next time it'll be how much he did without moving.
They've looked better without him. Can see them nicking it now which would be cruel on Mexico.

Brazil have been much better this half. That's damning them with faint praise though. Mexico deserve a point here. You gotta feel for one of Mexico and Croatia. Looked really quite good, but they're not both going to make it through despite Brazil being thoroughly mediocre.
