Time for Hulk and Fred to step up as Higuain did at last in Argentina's game at the weekend.
I feel that Germany's midfield is full of non-tacklers apart from Khedira and with Fernandinho and either Gustavo or Paulinho playing plus Ramires to come on I thnk that strength (and maybe some lenient refereeing) could give Brazil the edge.
Also with Tiago Silva out the replacement by Dante is probably ideal bearing in mind where he plays his club football.

Only the second time they have faced each other at the World Cup. First game in 2002 handed to Brazil by Kahn who made a terribly mistake in the final after having played superbly in previous games. Neuer to run out of the box and not quite get there in this game to hand Brazil a 1-0 lead. Whether they hang on to it or not, I have no idea (I've been wrong so often in this WC anyway). If Löw plays Lahm at right-back (which he refused to do before the France game, telling journalists he knows what the best tactics are), Germany to win. If he plays Lahm in midfield (which the nation fears he might), Brazil to take it (although it may well take extra-time and penalties).

Even though I backed Brazil to win (beating Argentina 3-1 in the Final) from before the tournament started, I have been so underwhelmed by their play and their attitude that I really want the Germans to win, and, for good measure, for the Dutch to beat Argentina in the other semi final.

it is coming to the moment ive been waiting for the last 3 years, since i started backing germany for this world cup! the only thing that should stand in germany's way is the refball that favor brazil. weve already seen it in the tournament overwhelmingly for the brazilian side. now that neymar is out injured and silva is out for this match germany should have too much quality, even if they arent playing up to their usual standards. (tbf neither is brazil)
