reflects worse on you than it does on them imo

No it doesn't. Vast majority of Scotland supporters want England to fail, the vast majority of England supporters want Scotland to fail. It is called rivalry.

Very odd behaviour to want your biggest rivals to do well in any sport. Very woke.

ah didn't realise you were one of them. This is the moment I depart the conversation and leave you to it.

You apprently don't understand rivalry and are trying to suggest we all get behind Scotland whose supporters want nothing but misery and pain for England at major tournaments. I thought "woke" was better than calling you a massive pussy, I was trying to be respectful.

For those Welsh fans considering travel to the Netherlands via France it seems more likely now as France goes on the Dutch green list as of tomorrow.

He is certainly going out with a bang. Looked much more at the races last night and dragged his nation through to the knockout stages,

You'd have to think he is done after this tournament?

Scotland fans have spent the last 20 years banging on about the 1-0 win at Wembley when they still lost on aggregate. That will now be replaced by a 0-0 draw where they still finished bottom with 1 point.

Will be 37 for the next World Cup, so might have one more big tournament in him.

Don't fancy his chances in the Qatar heat but Croatia might not have a choice. He is good enough to play that Pirlo role I guess, can just sit there and dish out passes.

NathStPaul An inferior nation celebrating a 0-0 draw as if they won the competition, their supporters taking shots at England constantly for many years. Fcuk them.

I dont really base my football views on how other fans act. I just sort of like to see the teams from the country i'm from do well.

I'd be happy for any of Ireland N Ireland, Wales or Scotland to do well.

Guess it depends if there are going to be indoor venues with air con? Is that still a thing which is happening?

Yeah, if he is still playing at a decent club level, I can't see why he can't play that Pirlo role.

Depends on how many of the slaves die in the process of building them.

Speaking of the World Cup, it is unreal that it is only a year and a half away. Even more unreal it will be played at Christmas time, it will be bizarre.

Agreed, when discussing Modric, I looked up his age and was like "oh he's 35, 36 for the next World Cup" but then I looked and he turns 36 in September, so will be 37 when the World Cup is going to be played in winter.

I can't really get my head around it.

How hot will it be in November/December? Can see England struggling too if every game is 30C+

Also, didn't do England much good in South Africa where the temps in June/July were cooler
