Royal Rother These games should be on Comedy Central not Sky Sports.

I was getting frustrated at the appalling quality until I started to see the funny side. Now it’s laugh a minute.

The commentary helps in that regard - “That would have been a great goal if it had gone anywhere near…”

Watch it you'll get accused of racism for not taking the competition seriously.

An incredible story at AFCON, where Comoros are going to have to start with an outfield player in goal against Cameroon tomorrow due to the number of Covid absentees in the squad. Likely a sad end to a great tournament for them.

Cameroon are 1/25 to win the game, so don't think you'll get much of a price.

This is one of the most comical football events of all time. Surely it is highly likely that Covid could break out in a squad? All they had to do was have a rule that stated that in the event of proof of positive test a like for like replacement can be called up. What is so wrong with that?

I reckon if it was the other way around they'd have allowed Cameroon to do that.

One of the Comoros goalkeepers has miraculously tested negative so is free to play. I call bullshit. AFCON didn't want the negative press.

Whole thing has been a shambles. I wish it would be treated with the same respect but it has to earn it.

Still not allowed to play.

Absolutely farcical that they can't draft in an emergency keeper.

So the organisers won't allow the team ranked 132 in the World to draft in an emergency goalkeeper to play in a knock out match against the host nation.

Personally, I cannot see any reason why anyone could possibly see any issues with that decision............

Outfield player in goal and down to 10 men after 7 minutes. Its going to be a long night.

Looked nasty but accidental. Harsh red IMO.

Decent double save. You'd think they'd have got him a new keepers jersey and not just used some tape to put his number over the top of the proper keepers number.

8 dead outside the ground.......reading the report from the BBC, that could have happened at Wembley at the Euro's Final.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-60120367

"It was hectic - people running, people climbing fences, people breaking through the barricades," he said, adding he saw many people without tickets trying to "force themselves in".

Comoros were a credit to themselves and their country.
