Klopp breaking record at anfield. Clueless, out of ideas and lost the dressing room. He has to go.

Klopp seems to be a man running out of ideas

He just isn’t learning that the current midfield three don’t work together yet he’s insistent on choosing it week in week out. Thiago once again was so poor and slows down their attacks so much, completely against what Liverpool were so strong at last season with quick tempo passes over the top

Compare to Chelsea’s midfield two of Jorginho and Kante who bossed the game, never understood the hate for Jorginho, quality player

Bringing on Milner and Chamberlain with Shaqiri, Keita and even Origi still on the bench was an awful call too

Does it have shades of the end of Klopp’s time at Dortmund?

I don’t know exactly, but hasn’t the make up of Liverpool’s midfield changed somewhat since last year ?
Perhaps the current selection policy may have something to do with a lack of options

Interesting about Jorginho. I've never heard a Chelsea fan have a good word about him. Mind you, they thought Lumpard as a manager was God.......yet look at this team under a proper manager. They can grind out results and look good when they need to. They actually defend as well. Just wonder if they maybe serious challengers next season. Certainly look like they can finish second.

Absolutely their options are somewhat limited but they still had the options on the bench to be a little more flexible. The midfield trio of Wijnaldum/Jones and Thiago hasn’t worked for a couple of months now and yet for some reason, he keeps trying it to no avail

Yeah, write it off as injuries and Covid. If he doesn't start well next he'll go for sure.

He’ll go somewhere that can provide Champions League football.

In the case of most clubs I think you are right that players usually go to clubs that will be playing in the Champions League.
The exceptions in England IMHO are Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Man Utd, clubs that in most seasons will be vying for a place at the Champs League table.

I don't believe that , as portrayed in the media, players ONLY move to clubs that are due to play in the Champs League that coming season-they might move because the club will play in the Champs League most seasons, which has been true of Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd for many years and true latterly of City.

Top players also love to play for their countries so in the case of somebody like Mbappe he will expect to play in qualifying games and Finals every 2 years so I guess that Liverpool possibly missing out for next season would not necessarily make his transfer a non-starter.
There is of course the matter of style of football and he might prefer one club's style over another and then there is the little matter of money.

One of the above 4 clubs may well get Harland so that leaves our 3 plus possibly Real Madrid although they may not be able to raise the funds this time around.

I don't think he will go to Liverpool but it is not out of the question and in raising funds from the sales of The Ox, Shaqiri, Origi and maybe one of the fab front 3 they may be able to afford him or may even go for Coutinho again.

Who are they going to sell to raise the money for him? That Vincious lad who can't shoot straight?

Real don't have the funds. His preference is Liverpool.
