TheMaraudingDog No such problems or uniteds second string 8)

Shouldn't think so with England's captain playing for them-not exactly second string then.
BTW I know you never watch Man Utd play but with a bit better finishing Scunthorpe could have 10 from the 22 chances they created whereas Man Utd with one of the world's top strikers (as well as the England captain and Korea's star player and Wes......oh forget Wes) in their side created a measly 6 chances but converted 5 of them.
Oh and they had the little Mexican playing who so many people said would score a bucketful in English football but he was rather shown up by the old hand who really belongs on Merseyside.
Welcome back Dog you have been missed.

How many changes to the team does it take to qualify as a second string? 11 not enough? :|

I don't see what Steve Bruce and Turner are moaning about, the ref pointed to Turner where to take the kick from, it was his cock up. Man up and admit it rather than winge about the ref. Turner may have meant to pass it to the keeper but he didn't.

Not a very good weekend for Arsenal or Chelsea and Man Utd fail to capitalise-in the light of those results Liverpool's wasn't so bad.

Beg to differ really. We're still top by 3 points.

It can't have been a good weekend for Chelsea as they lost and City (who I think will be their main challengers)closed the gap.
It's been a good season for Chelsea so far but not a good weekend.

As Liverpool are lightyears away from a top 4 spot, perhaps checking out the teams in your bracket would be more productive.
Liverpool looking out for Arsenal or Chelsea and Man Utd's results is about as relevant as Reading FC looking out for them.

Going to stick my neck out here, just forra bit of fun, 9th - 12th place is where I'll place Liverpool this season.

What do you expect when a club like Liverpool sign Konchesky? Hodgson needs to sort the mess out pretty sharpish or he's out by Christmas and Martin O'Neil in. Well worth a tenner.

Well, I suppose it's entirely possible that Mandaric could get through another 2 managers by Christmas, Sven being the first, but I cannot see MON working under that clown / criminal.

When the hell is that tax case coming up then, or is it another one that HMRC have fcuked up on?

Gutted about this. Blackpool were 8/1 before the game and I was seriously considering whacking ten notes on. Obviously had I done so Liverpool would be walking this, but oh well.
