Wouldn't be surprised to see Werner kick on next season, tbh.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea use Werner as a makeweight to try and get Haaland from Dortmund.

Still think he ends up at City or Utd if he comes over here, probably the former.

Not a bad shout though, I guess Dortmund would know that he can do it in Germany.

I think he does too, I am not sure Chelsea are viewed as a big club outside of England. Haaland has a touch of the Zlatan about him, big ego and seems very much in control of what he does and where he goes. Not sure he will fancy Chelsea too much.

Why would Haalland want to play in the Europa League?

It's been making my eye twitch all season, Haaland (and Mbappe) being linked with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool, ignoring the fact that he isn't going to move to any team that isn't in the CL.

Chelsea have returned over 800 unsold tickets for the Champions League final. The Blues were given 5,800 tickets by Uefa but it is understood that a combination of ticket costs, concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, including additional testing, and an unwillingness to spend less than 24 hours in Portugal, has caused the situation.

Or people don't want to spend £500 going to Portugal and being hurded around like cattle. Nothing to do with being a big club or a small club.

Even though Portugal is on the green list I'm not sure I'd want to be stood queuing for hours at passport control at Heathrow at the moment.

A swiftly deleted tweet from the Chelsea Twitter account, posted during the Spurs game yesterday.

He is still the owner and - unless he gets sanctioned - can still invest in the club, but that the day to day running of the club, and any decision making will be done by the Trustees; in practice that means Marina Granovskaia (who, though a Director isn't a Trustee) will still make the footballing decisions together with Petr Cech, who is the Technical and Performance advisor.

I think it was done to take the heat out of tomorrow's Chelsea v Liverpool game where it could (and still might) have got nasty.

Apparantly the Trustees have yet to accept the offer from Abramovich, as they think that it could bothcompromise their charitable status AND just leave them being a front for someone who may well get sanctioned by the Government in the next few days.

Also, if it is a de facto change of ownership, no-one seems to have mentioned it to the Premier League who need to sanction such a change.....
