I sent to remember him standing in a hedge, arguing with people after they lost to the 3rd best team in Luxembourg.

The Daily Record Pedro Caixinha talked the talk but slipped up in a pile of his own bullshit and is a victim of no-one but himself

I just can't get my head around the Leicester thing. Clearly Shakespeare had support in the dressing room - it was that politics that ultimately did for Ranieri. So you look at Leicester's results this season, and they have lost 4 times. To Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Liverpool. Not title winning form, sure, but hardly disastrous. And Shakespeare also saw them past Liverpool in the EFL Cup.

And then they replace him with Claude Puel, a guy who dissolved all the invention and excitement from Southampton's play, and led them to a very distant 8th spot last season, with significantly fewer points than Koeman had managed in the same finish the previous year. Puel seems to still be trading (and very highly too) on taking Lyon to the CL semi-finals.

Just don't really get it. I'd feel very much underwhelmed as a Leicester fan.

8th place and cup final - probably one of Southampton's best ever seasons? Yet the fans were very discontented with the football.

That reminds me of another football club... :D

Did they not say all this when Ranieri was appointed?

Murts 14/1 for the Rangers job looks decent value.

Lee Clark sacked by Bury.

Lee Clark's one of those managers who always seems to piggy back someone else's good work and then fcuk it up.

Amazed he keeps getting jobs.

Still trading on his work at Huddersfield I guess. And he did a good job there.

Since then though he's won just 55 out of 226 games, at 4 clubs.

Not a massive shock but I don't see to many capable of doing better with the shit he had at his disposal.

Was it the secret footballer who said that Sunderland are a club you only consuder if you're really desperate, hence they tend to pay over the odds for bang average players.

John Cross said last night that Sunderland have become 'unmanageable'. If someone like Grayson, who looks a perfect fit for the club and had a good record at Preston, can't get the players to play for him, then probably no-one can.

And let's be clear, this is about the players. Their bench last night included Cattermole, Vaughan, Watmore and Kone. Starting line-up included McGeady, McManaman, Oviedo, Grabban, Wilson, O'Shea. This team should be challenging at the top of the Championship.

They will be by far the biggest ever team that would play in league 1. What capacity is their stadium? They will be lucky to get 10,000 there is they get in L1

Yes. Man city at the time were never a big team, only until about 7 years ago

Which is why, they hold the English record for the highest attendance for a club fixture not played at Wembley. They also averaged over 28,000 in League 2, which is 500 more than Sunderland are averaging in the Championship this season.

You do realise they won things like league titles and domestic and European trophies before 2010 don't you?

Better to keep quiet and have people think you're an idiot than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Very doubtful. How much did Sunderland get last time they were in Division 3?

And would agree that Manchester City are the biggest team to have played in Division 3.

Bilic sacked. Moyes who managed Sunderland to bottom place last year set to take over as they try to avoid getting relegated.
