The Cowley brothers off to Hudds

can't help but feel they could have waited and had better clubs to choose from

I tend to agree with that, however if they go in and do well straight away, they will get a bigger chance sooner or later.

Should have stayed at Lincoln probably but they are in a no lose scenario at Huddersfield who cannot really get much lower. Would have fancied them at Reading if Gomes had moved on at any point in the season.

I think if they held out a couple more weeks then they could have gone to Stoke.

Does Nathan Jones go this weekend?

Why would they want to go to that basket case of a club?

Huddersfield aren't much better or worse than Stoke. Both have losing mentalities and players who don't want to be there and who aren't giving their all. Both huge repair and rebuild jobs.

All jokes aside, surely Nathan Jones goes this weekend unless he delivers anything other than a Stoke win?

I think he'll get til 1st October when they face Huddersfield - can easily see both clubs winless up to then.

Not yet John, they are just at a club who only know how to lose. I think they can only be judged come the end of the season after having a full transfer window in January. Clearly there are some players at Huddersfield who just don't want to be there but are happy picking up a Premier League wage. If they can recruit well in January they will be fine.

It's well documented about how they like to have full control of a club and that was one of the reasons they turned down the Wednesday gig. Something about them tells me they're out of their depth and they won't be able to do that at the level they're at, with the type of players they need to succeed. I suppose time will tell but I am suspicious as it's taken them a while to get their chance...

Yeah I don't think he did at all. The conversation went:

"Neil we are doing shit, we want you to go but can't sack you as you're a club legend. Fancy just resigning?"

"Ok pay me what I'm owed"

6th in the table, not exactly doing badly, but their fans seem pretty happy he's gone.
