haha

The Big Sam A few bottles of Brooklyn Brewery Summer Ale, 11 Wagon Wheels, my Medisana Comfort Footspa and Warren G's 'Regulate...G Funk Era'. Bliss.

LOL

Bit wet to train today, so let the lads watch some of my 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' videos in the office. That cat is oxf*rd hilarious.

It's weird. Sabrina's aunts aren't sexually attractive, yet I'd have intercourse with both. The libido is such a strange and wondrous force.

To qualify tonight, Lyon had to beat Dinamo Zagreb, hope Ajax lost to Real Madrid, and overturn a goal difference deficit of 7 (I assume, anyway, as they drew both their games with Ajax 0-0).

EASY!

Ajax 0-3 Real Madrid
Dinamo Zagreb 1-7 Lyon

That's not all. They had two perfectly good goals disallowed for Offside as well.

Never mind Barca, since 21st September in all competitions, Real Madrid have won 15 games in a row, and only failed to score 3 goals twice.

Ark Royal
T.R.O.L.I.
YateleyRoyal Group A: Bayern Munich, Villarreal, MAN CITY, Napoli

I imagine City will be fairly happy with that.

Looking at the other teams in Pot 4, Napoli are probably the hardest team they could get. Although, they'll be happy to avoid any trips to Eastern Europe.

There is always one and that is the Group of Death. Watched Bayern dismiss FC Zurich on Tuesday and they barely broke sweat; Villarreal are the best footballing side in Spain after Barca; Napoli at home is like walking into a bear pit. Would not be surprised if $ity failed to qualify.

Zagreb took the lead with 10 men too. Was 1-1 at half time!

Yup, had forgotten about that

Tuesday's finish in Group G was interesting (APOEL losing at home to elimin8ed Shakhtar but winning the group anyway as Porto were held to a nil draw at home by Zenit, who held onto second)

How's about Inter, losers at the San Siro in both their Group B opener (to Trabzonspor) and, safely bedded in as group winners, again in Tuesday's finale (to CSKA, who leapfrog'd both Trabzonspor and Lille to finish as group runners up)

What's in the briefcase, etc

Full list of qualifiers:

Group winners
FC Bayern München, FC Internazionale Milano, SL Benfica, Real Madrid CF, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, APOEL FC, FC Barcelona

Group runners-up
SSC Napoli, PFC CSKA Moskva, FC Basel 1893, Olympique Lyonnais, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Olympique de Marseille, FC Zenit St Petersburg, AC Milan

I guess avoid AC Milan or Napoli is the order of the day for Chelsea and Arsenal.

Schards#2 Plenty of cash has backed United at 1.01 (1/100) on betfair to qualify, those punters will be sweating.

Hope you're not having to put your house on the market Schards!

What's that? Stephen Ireland finding a new way of teasing a former club for letting him go?
