RoyalJames101 Lindergaard looked quality tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his place in the team for the Chelsea game.

some of his kicking was a bit wayward

True. Made some very good saves though and looked comfortable all night.

Row Z Royal It's been a good game, this Citeh one. Two excellent goals, too.

Hate to say it, but really enjoying watching Citeh at the moment, with a bit of a man crush developing on Aguero

All about Napoli making that game great. Gutted they didn't hold on at 8/1 but that was a poor wall for the free kick.

Serious 8/1? Those kind of odds should be reserved for Swansea and Norwich, not Napoli ffs.

Anyone noticed that after CL games, Man Utd have 6 home PL games and Man City have 6 away?

All of Birminghams league games are away from home after European nights. Bl8antly a plot to destroy their season in the Championship :!:

Lollerpool didn't qualify but they can console themselves with the fact that some schmuck gave them £50 Million for a past it striker who has lost his pace.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are guaranteed £22.5 million even if they fail to qualify for the knock-out stages.

Last season, Sir Alex Ferguson's United side earned a total of £46 million in getting to the final.

Each of the 32 teams in the group phase receives a participation payment of £3.37 million and £475,000 for every match played in the group stage. Performance bonuses will see £690,000 paid for every win and £345,000 for each draw.

Each team reaching the last 16 will get a further £2.6 million, quarter-finalists £2.85 million and the four semi-finalists £3.6 million. The Champions League winners take home a further £7.8 million and the runners-up £4.48 million euros.

Each clubs is then also a given a share of the market pool of TV money, based on the value of the television contracts in their country and where they finished in their domestic league.

Last season, Chelsea earned the most of any club in Europe from the market pool - £23 million.

That's exactly the sort of stat a Chelsea fan would cream themselves over. Did the cash buy you a trophy, or just another massively-expensive misfiring striker?
