No Fixed Abode I think City were quite cunning in where they sold the tickets in the ground. Over 11,000 empty seats and on tv it didn't look that empty apart from some seats at the front of tier 1. The 'Were not really here' third tier where the camera is must have been empty again.

Hush now. What happens in the seats is vastly more important than what happens on the pitch. It's attendances and selling out your end that win you the Champion's League or the Premier League or the FA Cup or the Carling Cup.

Seal Bearing in mind the pop of Manc is only 500,000, after a number of high profile games in succession on TV I can understand why the attendance was a bit low. However, that is not to dispute that regardless of mitigating factors, it IS a poor attendance for a cup semi versus Liverpool.

What about the fact that the support given to their team in a cup semi final, against Liverpool, was on a par with the Madejski Stadium on a miserable saturday against Coventry
