He looks much stronger physically, and seems to have lost none of his quality.

We really miss his set pieces.

Looking good for Swansea. Sigs seems to have beefed-up during his stint at Hoffenheim. Unfortunately, the commentators are working up a jizz fest over Thierry Henry coming on.

Lovely stuff from gylfi, exactly what we are missing in our team. Swansea can thank Mr Mad for this freebie.

Not really, but on the other hand a bit more luck and a bit more maturity from Rodgers in late 09 and we could have a very different situation now.

I didn't know he'd joined Swansea TBH.

Great ball for Danny Graham though.

Didn't see the Swansea vs Arsenal match but have read the reports. Sounds like Rodgers' efforts to play football are really now playing off - outplaying and passing Arsenal according to the reports, you've got to give them credit. Nathan Dyer was apparently awesome..some speculation that an England cap will come calling. Good on Rodgers and Swansea I say, shame it didn't work out for him here but it was the wrong time, wrong group of footballers - at least that's what I'm telling myself.

This the Gylfi thread.. Not the Swansea thread.

Anyway really pleased for Gylfi, looked good and composed, tried one to many tricks at times, but had a couple of cracking passes which opened up Arsenal, including the ball for the goal.

Well let’s face it, Swansea are offending enough people just by having the temerity to be in this division and not play like Stoke, they may as well enjoy themselves.
