"A HOLOGRAM of a huge flaming lion prowled across the top of a stadium before it jumped onto the pitch and roared at fans.

Argentine side Estuadiantes de La Plata put on the eye-watering display to mark their return to the ground for the first time since 2005."

 oxf*rd me that's awesome imagine being in the ground with that going on

Sounds like early stages but a really positive move for a club who have had their fair share of stadium issues.

Not too up on Coventry but is there no way they can buy back their old stadium from Ricoh?

Wasps own it I believe. Bought it from the city council, who fell out long ago with Coventy FC's dodgy owners, hence the years playing away from the city.

Another new stadium? They made a mess of the last one they built so let’s hope the new owners can do it right this time

At least now the Ricoh gets good attendances from Wasps so hasn’t gone the same way as the Darlington white elephant.

Reading’s record at the Ricoh I think was P2 W0 D2 L0 F2 A2

What a saga the Ricoh area was! Hope they get more luck with their second, new stadium

Green Burnden Park Bolton, sometime in the 70s.

Nice to see them social distancing in the terraces! Way ahead of their time in Bolton.
