TheMaraudingDog 56% of Manchester is red and only 15% blue.

Who'd have thought it?

15% of Manchester saw their team lift a Premier League title last season.

Barry the bird boggler Of course Wigan are top, 65 of their fans live in Wigan, while the other 35 are still in Whiston Hospital after being beaten up by a fat, drunken Dingle last season.

It is misleading because the 30 mile average journey that they quote for Reading fans takes in OX, SL GU HP and SP postcodes.

Wigan has Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Man Utd, Man City , Liverpool, Everton who are much more established clubs as well as Bury, Rochdale and Accrington all within 30 miles. Of course they'll have a much more local catchment area.

That picture clearly isn't when Aguero scored that famous winner where the country celebrated in unison? Has anything liked that happened with Gloryhunting, prawn-sandwich United? NO.

I think the whole table is misleading as towns/cities with only one club in are obviously going to have a higher percentage of local supporters than say London where there are 12 clubs - certainly in the case of West Ham, with the destruction of the East End during the war and the post war slum clearences a big percentage of our traditional local support moved out iinto Essex. I think it's pretty much the same for the fans of most London clubs to - as for Chelsea, well I very much doubt the average fan could afford to live in the same post code as Stamford Bridge.

On the whole, I think the majority of Reading fans come from surrounding areas such as Wokingham, Bracknell and Basingstoke etc
