Winston Biscuit A lot of rumours that David Silva is very unwell. Hopefully the rumours are not true.

So, it turns out the news was that his baby was born very premature and needs round the clock care. Hope it all turns out well for him and family.

Assumed the rumour was based on his hairstyle for this season, but I'm pretty sure that's a hair transplant.

Yeah it was I think, there's a few pictures where you can see the treatment coming through. Weird, I had no idea he was balding.

I'm sure City will ultimately win tonight but really impressed with Bristol and the way they are matching City
Really scrapping for everything and creating quite a bit as well. Deserved the half time lead.

Thought they’ve been very impressive. I bet it’s one of the most difficult home games City have had this season.

Played it exactly how they should do and how all teams should approach games against the biggest clubs - just go for it - by trying to defend the whole 90 you are still likely to let in a goal, have to come out a bit and then be picked off.

Go for their throat and try and scare them a bit - Bristol City certainly did that last night and had chances to score a 2nd before City's late winner. You are expected to lose at Man City, so why not lose going for the win rather than trying to hang on to 0-0.

Do away goals count double? I can see bristol city just parking the bus and nicking a 1-0 win if so.

Yeah, I think away goals do count in the League Cup.

They don't count as double, but they are essentially 1.5 of a goal, I think

So at the moment it's Man City 2 Bristol City 1.5

Believe that, in the LC, away goals count double but only after extra time has been played.

^ this is correct, only after ET.

Bristol City where impressive last night, and although I agree about the Lee Johnson sentiment above him being a total pcunt, his team did himself and the Championship proud last night. No coincidence imo that two of Man Citys hardest games have been against championship sides this year.
