Which means I don't have to book any time off work but I'll be like a zombie for 4 weeks

You're just going to have to brazen it out, people will understand and it's not like you'll be the only one.

What do we recks for Spain v Tahiti then? 10+ goals? Nigeria could've easily got ten if they'd taken their chances/not been offside all game.

31-0 is the record international score, isn't it? Could be under threat...

Agreed with everyone saying that Italy-Japan was a cracker. Both pens were a bit dodgy for me, so I guess they balanced out. Couldn't help but root for the Japanese though, they were playing some fantastic football going forward. Not seen Kagawa play so well before.

4-0 Spain

They will treat it as a training match and just keep the ball for 89mins

That was pretty great at the end, Spain comgratulating the Tahitian players and then getting off so the crowd could cheer off the part-timers. Of course BBC felt the need to cut it off, doubtless to make sure the viewers get enough of Chapman's probing questions regarding this extremely serious footballing encounter.

They cut it off cos they started to interview the Tahiti manager, not in English
