Thought it was a good bit of entertainment. Not sure how we only scored one though, in the end everyone was laughing when we missed the 3rd open goal...

No Fixed Abode They'll think twice about having another U21 game there.

Really? Oh no, I don't know if I can go on after that news! I'm off to find a bridge.

What's the finances on this? The club can't have broken even on a crowd of 5,000. Do we get baled out by the FA or summat?

What has that got to do with the attendance?

Tbh I didn't realise it was being played at the Madejski until this morning

I didn't realise until yesterday. I only knew because I saw a tweet from Henry Winter saying there were plenty of tickets available. Great PR from Reading Football Club again.

Honestly what does anyone expect? Who want's to watch Moldovan youngsters or even England's latest batch of unknown soon to be under achievers. Add to that the media's general disinterest, poor advertising and the way all RFC supporters are totally ****** off with RFC at the moment and it was always on the cards. Incidentally what is the lowest crowd for a competitive U21 England home game?

I'm sure the FA would have covered all costs, and just paid us a fee for using the stadium. Not quite sure how it could have cost the club money.
