What's with the happy face? If your point is "I always told you all he was a great player" then why aren't you mad as hell at him for repeatedly failing to show this greatness in a Reading shirt? Back-to-back victories in the "most disappointing" player of the season award should tell you that he was talking the p1ss out of us. Regardless of what he does from this point on, good riddance.

HRK has just stuck 2 fingers up to RFC and supporters with that goal

He is almost certainly the best Welsh player born in Acton, with a Nigerian father and English mother, who learned his trade at Reading that there has ever been.

To be fair - I couldn't really care less that he scored a goal and played well for Wales. he did the same for reading once, a while ago - I couldn't tell you when!

If he could try and play like that week in and week out, then sure it'd be sad that he's leaving but he's inconsistent and spends too long looking like he doesn't care - in my opinion.

Tonnes of players have played well on the odd occasion - doesn't make them world beaters! Federico Macheda anyone??

To be fair - I hope wales get to the final and he keeps up the good work, then he'll sign an expensive contract somewhere and hopefully their fans won't end up as disappointed with him as i've been for a long time!

All of them were English that scored yesterday!

I'm a bit ignorant of the current situation and cannie be bothered to look it up....

what's the situation with HRK's contract?

I saw someone on twatter about a month ago say that his profile stated something like "Wales international footballer and league footballer" or something and mentioned nothing about Reading which is odd as every player I've seen on twitter state clearly in their profile their club, e.g. "midfielder with Reading FC and international for Wales" or similar.

He's away. Like a poor mans Emmanuel Adebayor.

I look forward to him being shit in the first 2.5 years of the 3 year contract he will sign with a club.

He negotiated a very decent contract last time on the back of a half decent season in the Premier League and realised this time round that the cash cow had been milked dry so didn't even bother entering talks.

Rather than us releasing him, as is constantly suggested in the media, he chose to walk away in the hope of landing a decent contract at some where like Swansea. No doubt he will get a wish and good luck to him but I reckon he'll offer similar value for money to whoever signs him as he did for us over the past 3 years.

Don't get me wrong, on his day he's an excellent player but his day tends to only coincide with when the live cameras are in town.

I feel honoured to have seen HRK's last game for RFC at Blackburn

In which he was largely anonymous

None of this changes the fact that he was consistently shit for us.

Ah now, that's not totally accurate.

He wasn't shit if
- the match was on television
- he had a contract to play for
- there might have been somebody important watching
- it was a cup game and therefore would be reported on in more depth than normal
- he'd decided he needed to remind us of how good he could be if he didn't hate us so much.

So, shit for 93.78% of the time by my reckoning

P!ssed Off
Woodcote Royal
genome Delighted for him, hopefully shut a few people up on here.

You reckon

The twat is only "on a Bosman this summer" because he chose not to sign a new contract with the club he's been with since he was a kid.

This afternoon was yet another reminder of how he always looked like he was playing on tranquilisers for us but steroids for Wales.

Have no fear, Hal, we'll never forget what a "wonderful servant" you were for us .

When you finally persuade another deluded club to waste it's money on you, would you kindly do us one last huge favour in taking 5 or 6 of your fellow over paid, couldn't give a sh*t, former team mates with you

It's filthy pcunts like you that show why he is absolutely right to move on this Summer.

Glad to see I'm not the only "filthy pcunt" here :|

If there's one thing we don't need next season it's any more p*ss taking Hal Robson Kanu's. Player's who have the talent, demand small fortunes in wages yet only put in the effort on the rare occasions it suits them, then, have the brass neck to tell us all what a great servant they've been

I wish Wales all the best whilst urging other clubs not to waste their money on HRK.

i think you will find that in a recent article i read HRK was on 10k a week and not 'demanding a small fortunes in wages'

Burnley striker Sam Vokes earns £7,000 a week, clubless Robson-Kanu was making £10,000 before he was let go at Reading and Ashley Williams earns £45,000 – compared to captain Rooney’s colossal £260,000 weekly wage.
